เขตพุทธาวาสเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ วัดธัมมธโร กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศผลงานการออกแบบและการก่อสร้าง Master Builders and Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards 2026 ประเภท Commercial Construction $10 million to $20 million เมื่อวันที่ ๑๑ กันยายน ๒๕๖๙ ณ National Convention Centre กรุงแคนเบอร์รา โดยองค์กร Master Builders Association of the ACT ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรที่เป็นตัวแทนของอุตสาหกรรมอาคารและการก่อสร้างในเขต ACT มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อยกย่องโครงการที่มีความโดดเด่นรวมทั้งบุคคลต่าง ๆ ที่สร้างผลงานสำคัญให้แก่ภาคการก่อสร้างของ ACT
เขตพุทธาวาสเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ วัดธัมมธโร เป็นอาคารสถาปัตยกรรมไทยประเพณี ที่ได้ประยุกต์ใช้ระบบก่อสร้างกึ่งสำเร็จรูปสมัยใหม่ ที่เรียกว่า Prefabrication System โดยส่วนที่เป็นผิวอาคารอุโบสถ ผนัง หลังคา วิหารคต และองค์พระพุทธเจดีย์ศรีธัมมธโร เป็นคอนกรีตเสริมใยแก้วหล่อสำเร็จจากโรงงานในเมืองอดิเลท ก่อนที่จะทำการเคลื่อนย้ายเข้าประกอบติดตั้งที่หน้างาน ซึ่งเป็นจุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญสำหรับงานก่อสร้างอาคารสถาปัตยกรรมไทยประเพณีในต่างประเทศ ที่ไม่มีช่างผู้ชำนาญการก่อสร้างเฉพาะด้าน ที่สามารถดำเนินการภายใต้ระเบียบการก่อสร้างที่เข้มงวดของออสเตรเลีย
ทั้งนี้ โครงการก่อสร้างเขตพุทธาวาสเฉลิมพระเกียรติ จะได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลในระดับชาติต่อไป ซึ่งจะมีการประกาศผลรางวัลประมาณเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2026
โดยที่ คุณสุทธินี เมืองแสน ผู้บริหารโครงการก่อสร้างเขตพุทธาวาสเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ ได้รับการเสนอชื่อเป็นหนึ่งในผู้เข้ารอบสุดท้าย (finalists) ของรางวัล 2026 Construction Woman of the Year.

The Buddhavāsa Precinct, Wat Dhammadharo Canberra wins the Master Builders and Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards 2026 under the Commercial Construction $10 million to $20 million category.
On 11 September 2026 The Master Builders Association of the ACT, a representative body for the construction industry in the ACT, announced award winners for projects and individuals that demonstrate excellence in the field of design and construction at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.
The Buddhavāsa Precinct at Wat Dhammadharo is a traditional Thai architectural complex that blends modern building techniques, in this case a Prefabrication System, in which the walls, roofs, and traditional Thai artistic motifs were cast in Glass-Reinforced Concrete in Adelaide prior to insitu assemblage. This marks a pivotal moment in Thai traditional architecture construction in regions with strict Building Codes and limited traditional Thai artisans.
The Buddhavāsa Precinct Construction Project has now been nominated for the national award, results of which will be announced in November 2026.
Further, congratulations to Ms Suthinee Muangsaen, Project Manager, of the Buddhavāsa Precinct Construction Project, who has been named as a finalist for the 2026 Construction Woman of the Year.
