นายกรัฐมนตรี เข้ากราบนมัสการพระราชสีลาภรณ์ เจ้าอาวาสวัดธัมมธโร และประธานกรรมการบริหารคณะสงฆ์ธรรมยุตในประเทศออสเตรเลียและนิวซีแลนด์ (คธอ.) พร้อมด้วยคณะสงฆ์วัดธัมมธโร ถวายผ้าไตร และเครื่องไทยธรรม โอกาสนี้ พระราชสีลาภรณ์กล่าวอนุโมทนานายกรัฐมนตรีคนที่ ๓๓ และเป็นนายกรัฐมนตรีคนแรกที่มาเยือนวัด

Phra Rajasilaporn, Abbot of Wat Dhammadharo and President of the Board Committee of the Thai Dhammayut Sangha Council of Australia-New Zealand, and resident monks rejoice with the Prime Minister’s visit. HE Mr Anutin Charnvirakul is the Thai Prime Minister to visit Wat Dhammadharo.

จากนั้น นายกรัฐมนตรี และภริยาเข้ากราบสักการะพระพุทธอังคีรสจำลอง ซึ่งประดิษฐานเป็นพระประธานในพระอุโบสถ และสักการะพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ ณ พระพุทธเจดีย์ศรีธัมมธโร ภายในอาคารใต้พระมหาธาตุเจดีย์ ก่อนถวายราชสักการะพระบรมรูปพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร และลงนามหนังสือเยี่ยมวัดธัมมธโร

Phra Rajasilaporn leads the Prime Minister to the Uposatha Hall to pay respects to the Phra Buddha-angīrasa (replica) principal Buddha image and to tour the newly consecrated Buddhavāsa Precinct.

ทั้งนี้ นายกรัฐมนตรี และภริยา รวมทั้งรัฐมนตรีด้านกิจการพหุวัฒนธรรมฯ ออสเตรเลียได้ร่วมกันปลูกต้นแมกโนเลีย (Magnolia) สายพันธุ์ “Inspiration” เพื่อเป็นที่ระลึกในการเยือนวัดธัมมธโร โดย “Inspiration” หมายถึง แรงบันดาลใจ และเป็นความทรงจำในการมาเยือนครั้งนี้

HE Mr Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of The Kingdom of Thailand and Minister of the Interior, together with his wife, Mrs Thananon Charnvirakul, and Official Delegation visited Wat Dhammadharo during his official visit to the Commonwealth of Australia. He was greeted by The Hon Dr Anne Aly MP Minister for Small Business, Minister for International Development and Minister for Multicultural Affairs, HE Ms Arjaree Sriratanaban Ambassador of Thailand to Australia and the Thai-Australian community in Canberra.

The Prime Minister paid respects to Phra Rajasilaporn, Abbot of Wat Dhammadharo and President of The Board Committee of the Thai Dhammayut Sangha Council of Australia-New Zealand, and resident monks at Wat Dhammadharo. Phra Rajasilaporn rejoiced with the Prime Minister’s visit, noting that that he was the first Thai Prime Minister to visit the monastery.

The Prime Minister, Mrs Charnvirakul and The Hon Dr Anne Aly MP, Minister for Small Business, Minister for International Development and Minister for Multicultural Affairs, signs the visitor’s book.

Then, the Prime Minister and Mrs. Charnvirakul paid respects to the Phra Buddha-angīrasa (replica) principal Buddha image inside the Uposatha Hall and Relics of the Lord Buddha housed inside the Phra Buddha Cetiya Sri Dhammadharo Stupa, before paying homage to a statue of His Late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and proceeding to sign the visitor’s book.

The Prime Minister, Mrs Charnvirakul and The Hon Dr Anne Aly MP, Minister for Small Business, Minister for International Development and Minister for Multicultural Affairs, plants a Magnolia tree, named “Inspiration”, within the monastery grounds.

Before their departure, the Prime Minister and his wife, together with Hon Dr Anne Aly MP, Minister for Small Business, Minister for International Development and Minister for Multicultural Affairs, planted a Magnolia tree, appropriately named “Inspiration”, within the monastery grounds as a living memento of this historic visit.
