How to get to Our Monastery:

1. Getting here by CAR

Northbourne Avenue is the main road from Sydney to Canberra CBD.  

Turn into Mouat Street at the Northbourne Avenue and Mouat Street/Anthill Street Intersection towards Lyneham.

Take the 3rd Left Turn into Archibald Street. Follow Archibald Street to towards the top of the hill, past the Vietnamese Buddhist Temple and Aged Care Facilities.

Our temple is on the Right Handside, No. 80 Archibald Street (Opposite Lambert Street).

2. Getting here by BUS

From Canberra City Centre

Monday – Friday

Option 1: Bus No. 1 (from City Bus Station Platform 4 to Mackennal St before Archibald St), then walk into Archibald Street

Option 2: Bus No. 7 (From City Bus Station Platform 7 to Mouat St opposite Hockey Centre), then walk into Archibald Street

Option 3: Bus No.8 (From City Bus Station Platform 5 to Miller St after Wattle St), then walk into Archibald Street

Saturday – Sunday

Option 1: Bus No. 936 (From City Bus Station Platform 4 to Mackennal St before Archibald St)

Option 2: Bus No. 980 (From City Bus Station Platform 8 to Mouat St opp Hockey Centre)

Option 3: Bus No. 932 (From City Bus Station Platform 8 to Mouat St opp Hockey Centre).

3. Getting here by LIGHTRAIL

Alight at Dickson Interchange Lightrail stop.

Walk along Mouat St and left into Archibald St.

4. Getting here from the Canberra Airport

By Car

Take Fairbairn Ave, Limestone Ave and Northbourne Ave (A23) to Archibald St in Lyneham. (18 mins, 10.5 km)

or Continue on Pialligo Ave. Take Morshead Dr, Parkes Way, Tourist Drive 2, Barry Dr and Dryandra St to Archibald St in Lyneham (20 mins, 15.3 km).  

By Bus

Take Bus No.11 (from Brindabella Cct Brindabella Busine to City Bus Station Platform 4) and take Bus No.8 (from City Bus Station Platform 5 to Miller St after Wattle St) (traveling time 50-60 mins).
