What:
Vesak Day is the most sacred day in the Buddhist calendar; marking the Birth, Enlightenment and Final Passing of the Buddha. It falls on the full moon of the sixth lunar month. It is a festive occasion for all Buddhists, a time to gather, perform various rites of veneration and reflect on the virtues of the Buddha.
